Privacy notice of the CYBETOWER Radar app (Android and iOS)
Who is responsible
The app belongs to POWERB SAGL, Via Serrai 2, 6592 S.Antonino, Switzerland (CHE-367.484.791). Privacy questions: privacy(at)cybetower.swiss.
What stays on the phone
- For each account you sign in to: email, name, role (manager or monitored email) and the access tokens. They are sealed with a hardware-backed key of the phone (Android) or kept in the device keychain without iCloud sync (iOS), and excluded from backups and device transfers.
- The latest PDF report you open, in the app's private storage. It is replaced by the next one and deleted when you sign out of the account.
- The app keeps no history of what you look at. Uninstalling it deletes this data.
What leaves the phone, and to whom
- Only to the CYBETOWER Radar server (app.cybetower.swiss), always over HTTPS with the system certificates.
- At sign-in: email, password and the code received by email, the phone model as device name, the platform, the app version and the language.
- After sign-in: the requests of the screens you open (overview, monitored emails, breaches, domains, scans, reports), each with the access token.
- The logos of breached services are not loaded, so no third-party server learns what you look at. External links (website, store) open only if you tap them.
- No advertising, no usage statistics, no tracking, no analytics or crash-reporting library. Google Play and the App Store handle installation and updates under their own rules.
The CYBETOWER Radar server
- The data you see in the app (monitored emails, breaches, domains, scans) is that of your account on the CYBETOWER Radar portal and follows the portal's privacy notice: https://www.cybetower.swiss/privacy-policy.
- The server also uses third-party services: Sentry for the server's error reports, which may contain technical data of the request; Stripe for payments, Mautic for contacts at registration and the Meta Conversions API for advertising conversions, only for what you do on the web portal. The app does not register accounts or buy anything: it does not trigger Stripe, Mautic or Meta.
Permissions and why
- Android: Internet access only, to talk to the CYBETOWER Radar server.
- iOS: no permission requested.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) you can ask for information, correction or deletion of the data about you by writing to privacy(at)cybetower.swiss.
Changes
We update this notice on the same day an app release changes connections, permissions or data. Last update: 07.10.2026.
